'I had to go back to New York and try to find him. There was a chance he might not be there but I had to give it a go because there was one thing I was certain of: he wasn't here.'

SOPHIE HANNAH The Point of Rescue
TV producer Fliss Benson receives an anonymous card at work. The card has sixteen numbers on it, arranged in four rows of four - numbers that mean nothing to her. On the same day, Fliss finds out she's going to be working on a documentary about miscarriages of justice involving cot death mothers wrongly accused of murder. The documentary will focus on three women: Helen Yardley, Sarah Jaggard and Rachel Hind. All three women are now free, and the doctor who did her best to send them to prison for life, child protection zealot Dr Judith Duffy, is under investigation for misconduct.
For reasons she has shared with nobody, this is the last project Fliss wants to be working on. And then Helen Yardley is found dead at her home, and in her pocket is a card with sixteen numbers on it, arranged in four rows of four...

WENDY HOLDEN Simply Divine
Simply Divine sparkles with Wendy Holden's sharp, acerbic wit as she bursts the bubble of high society's extravagant pretensions and leaves the reader choking at some of her more shocking sentiments. She holds nothing back in her outrageous satire on the rich and frivolous, from psychics to New Age ceremonies to modern, "glossy" bibles, she exposes the shallowness behind the façade...

MARIAN KEYES Sushi For Beginners
This is a story of three girls' lives, what's made them what they are and their search for happiness--sometimes found in unlikely places and sometimes lost forever. With Sushi For Beginners, Keyes is fast-becoming the undisputed Queen of her genre. She's wincingly accurate and wickedly funny, and while she can tackle big issues like homelessness (no pun intended) with honest feeling devoid of over-sentimentality, her insight into the aspirations of thirtysomething women at the turn of the 21st century sets her high above the competition. YOU WILL ENJOY THIS BOOK....
